Time to Learn

Technology integration takes time. Consequently, teachers must be given the time to learn and time to practice using their new skills. The National Information Infrastructure Advisory Council, a former interagency advisory council to the federal government, prepared an analysis of time it takes teachers to reach the various ACOT™ skill levels. 14
