Culminating Activity: Planning for Tomorrow View the school stories from section seven, "Planning for Tomorrow," from the Principal Connections CD-ROM. In section seven, select the Scrapbook. Choose a school story that appeals to you, or think of a story relating to planning for technology from your own experience. Getting There Insert and begin Principal Connections. From the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, select the seventh icon on the left labeled "Tech Plans." This will take you to the section titled "You're the Leader." Select the Picture Frame at the rear of the desk. Post a message to the discussion. Include the following: The name of the school or district whose story you chose, or relate your own story. A statement on how technology is used to support teaching and learning implied by the vision statement of the school or district leaders. A statement about alternative measures that might be used to illustrate the return on investment of the school or district in the story. Factors you might construe as influencing the cost of technology should you attempt to replicate a given story in your own school, or the actual factors that influenced your own story.
