Strategies for Support

Hiring full-time support personnel has already been discussed as the most common strategy for supporting technology in your school or district. There are other strategies that schools have used effectively to provide support for the hardware, software, networks, and users of a school's technology infrastucture.

The remainder of this lesson will review four of these support strategies:

  • Outsourcing
  • Teachers with technology experience
  • Using students and volunteers
  • Using technology to provide support
